ClearSlide Announces Acquisition of Seed Mail and Introduces ClearSlide Mail

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - September 24, 2014

ClearSlide, the leading sales engagement platform, today announced it has acquired the critically acclaimed mobile email application Seed Mail from Chinese-based Mangrove Technologies and has launched ClearSlide Mail. With ClearSlide Mail, sales people have the ability to be more responsive on their mobile devices and can now enjoy increased productivity and insight into prospects’ activities while away from the office.

As the buyer’s journey has evolved and buyers are more educated and informed about products before their first contact with a sales person, the ability to respond quickly to a prospect’s needs and follow up immediately is a critical need for the modern seller. Today’s announcement addresses the need for speed and insights in the selling process and empowers sales people with the power of their ClearSlide content, as well as any content from Box, Dropbox, or their phone, no matter where they are.

In addition to being an intuitive, full-featured email client for Gmail™, Outlook™, Yahoo, Exchange, and more, ClearSlide Mail provides sales people and leaders the ability to track customer engagement, send ClearSlide content, and include re-usable message templates. These capabilities mirror the capabilities in the ClearSlide web-based and email-plugin platforms.

The ClearSlide Mail app is available for free in the Apple App Store and will allow all users to connect to other services like Box and Dropbox in order to pull content to include in emails. In order to leverage the advanced features and sales-specific insights and analytics built into the app, customers will need a ClearSlide account.
