ClearSlide Continues Momentum in Hiring Top Executives

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - September 24, 2013

ClearSlide, the leading sales engagement platform, today announced that Lawrence Bruhmuller has joined the company's leadership team as Vice President of Engineering. In this new role, he will further develop the department and oversee site operations, sales engineering and IT support.

The expansion of ClearSlide's executive team comes on the heels of a successful year for the startup. In 2012, the company tripled its customer base, grew its revenue by 200%, and raised $39M from Greylock and Felicis Ventures. It also recently added Summit Media and Wind River to its growing roster of customers, which include LinkedIn, Seamless and Thomson Reuters.

Most recently, Bruhmuller was the VP of Engineering and Product Management of Data Loss Prevention for Symantec (formerly Vontu), where he led a rapidly growing team delivering the product that was the undisputed leader in its market. Prior to Vontu, he held positions at a variety of startups as well as at BEA Systems, where he worked on WebLogic Server. Bruhmuller holds both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Engineering and Applied Mathematics from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA.
